Of course, the main motivating factor is money. But you shouldn't always start from this, because getting good money, but hating your job and what you do, this may not reflect very well in the future: disappointment that life has failed and you have wasted it, you have nothing to talk about and you cannot pass on that precious experience that you would gladly acquire doing your favorite thing. To avoid such a fate, try to do some analysis of yourself.
1. Test for “love” for the profession
I often tell people to ask themselves this question: "What would you like to do if you had unlimited financial resources? But this business should eventually bring profit." Many people start thinking and either give an answer right away or do not give one at all. If you answered that you like what you are doing now and you would not change anything, but would only develop in this area, then my congratulations - you are on the right track. If you would gladly quit your business, which you hate from year to year, then you need to analyze the following.
2. Abilities and skills
You should analyze what abilities and predispositions you have. Roughly speaking, look for your pros and cons. If you have artistry, eloquence, then you should not do any office work or assemble cars, if you do not have a passionate desire for this. Understand and evaluate yourself from head to toe, what is special about you and move in this direction. If you do not have a predisposition to music, then you should not engage in it to the level of commercial activity, even if you really want to. Become a music producer if you have artistry and you know how to easily and quickly find contact with people.
3. Develop, don’t be afraid.
Very important points that reinforce the previous 2 points above. You need to constantly develop! Always read, learn, communicate with people who have been working in your chosen field for a long time and have achieved considerable heights. Do not be afraid to start something, even if it is a very unusual activity. There will be a lot of criticism: from friends, acquaintances and ordinary passers-by. But this should not break you! Step by step and everything will work out over time. The main thing is to devote time to this constantly and systematically. By following all these steps, you will definitely get closer to success.
