Quickly linking properties to Bitrix sections

Do you have several hundred or thousands of properties in infoblocks? Then this module is for you.

1C-Bitrix allows you to link the properties of an information block (for example, Product Catalog) to individual sections. This is convenient and allows you to distribute your characteristics among different product groups.

For example, the catalog categories “TVs” and “Refrigerators” should have different properties. For one section the “Screen diagonal” property is relevant, for the other - “No Frost System”. If there are a lot of properties, then the distribution of properties into categories can turn into real flour.

And if you don’t separate them at all, then in the product editing form you have a huge footcloth of all kinds of custom properties from the entire catalog.

The standard functionality of Bitrix does not provide a quick search by properties with further assignment to each individual category.

In the property settings, you need to uncheck the "Show on element editing page" box. After this, in the catalog section editing form on the “Element Properties” tab, you can bind the properties needed for this section.

The difficulty is that the drop-down list of properties available for binding does not have a search by entered characters or any custom sorting. With a large number of properties, the binding process can be time-consuming.

Our module replaces the standard drop-down list with a drop-down list with a search by entered characters, which allows you to perform this setup much faster.

After quickly linking properties to the required sections, the product card in each section contains only the necessary properties. Working with such a directory becomes much easier and faster.
